How to perform a continuous traceroute.

Step 1

Enter the IP/domain into the test to address box then click the more tools drop down menu and click the icon as shown in the image below, this will start the continuous test.

Step 2

The continuous traceroute will look like a basic traceroute, however the data (such as response times, hops, locations) will constantly update so the most up to date information is always on view. The panes shown above are only an example, any of the 7 panes can be viewed using the toolbar shown in the image above.

It is also possible to have the traceroute update every x minutes instead of continuously. To change to this type of traceroute use the drop down menu, again shown in the image above.
