Email templates are used for both email alerts and snmp trap alerts.

There is no direct link from the main menu so first click on the CONFIGURE ALERTS link in the ADMINISTRATION section and then click on the CUSTOMIZE EMAIL TEMPLATES link at the bottom of the page.

To create a new template enter a name and click the CREATE Button.

When an email template is first created it will be blank.

The example on the right mimics the default MySpeed template from the previous page.

A list of available metrics can be found within MyConnection Server.

The URL for this is:

http://*mcs*/myspeed/admin/alert/fileconfig

REPLACE *mcs* with the domain of MyConnection Server.

This will list all the metrics allowed.
