Publishing a browser test to an Access Series device

Step 1

If you've published a test** in MyConnection Server it's possible to serve the page from an Access Series Device.

Copy the browser test web .html file from the MCS /www/publish directory to the MCS /www/hbss/default/ directory.

**Access Series appliances support the following Network Tests: MySpeed + TCP Data Flow Quality, MyVoIP, MyRoute, MyCapacity UDP, MyVideo, MCS Monitor DNS, HTTP, Ping, FTP.

Step 2

Copy the corresponding .bin file from the MCS /www/ directory to the MCS /www/hbss/default/ directory.

The same applies for a UNIX/Linux machine.

hbss directory

Step 3

Now the new page should appear in the list of tests available for the Access Series Device in use.

It can take a minute or two for it to pick up the new page.

Once it is listed as shown on the right, simply click the link to view the page, or go to the page directly in a browser

The screen to the right is the Access Series Device control panel, found by browsing to the device at http://your-device-address/myseed/admin.
